mystery of the misticon phat vest!
Misticon provider of apparel accomodated for all seasons has brought out this lovely number, the "Misticon's Phat Vest". Like a cloak to a vampire the Phat vest seems to fill enlightenment within its name, somewhat magical. It does indeed enlighten faces with its fitting shape and earthy tone colours,it would be a summer baby must have. With geometric shapes and weather warning symbols, this little number would cause a natural stir. The brown and red compliments each other and gives a warm front to the one who wears it. Maybe not much of a sparkly number as such but I would think it may stop a few stares with the shoulders and back on display.Summer has come early so this may be the purchase that could put all temperatures into perspective!

a sad day for some....a good day for one:june 25th
so manko turned another year ol' but then mj just had to take it off his hands,(ha insistantly with a fist fight!) what a sad news.today i vow myself not to mention unless someone speaks first about it.
r.i.p homeboy. "ur truly in a better place..hope the vocals you have been blessed with be filled in heaven"
so following on to the week, after the celebrationary...the party went without a hitch!
i went abit crafty with wrapping up the presents.its been proved that my creative gene is active at these times:
voila!
simples!all i did was get some parcel paper, found a font from the Dafont which provides a hella lot of cool fonts especially if you want to make banners or any graphic based pieces, so in this case i used font called "city_burn_night_after_night_and_we_spraypaint_the_walls", which looked like stencils for graffiti and then used different coloured cellotape to make it real pretty!;)
favs of the week:
on tv://as i was flicking through,i didn't realise i was enjoyed watching Kirsty's Home-made Home. I have no idea what it is but i'm strangely having this whole home-wifey vibe going on. I seem to want to cook;clean;make handmade items,u name it,i wanna do it!its basically a how-to guide on diy'in.in the episode i saw Kirsty was making her own pottery bowl, creating her own glass tumbler by glass blowing and sowing a simple cushion cover!!!OMGGGGG!i just love one of a kinds!!!that is why from now on i will try to create my own skills on everything that is anything.i thought Kirsty was only an expert on interior defience criticisms!love you now!
now watching how to make a lampshade.may ask the mankz if he wants me to make one...customary..like wow!
on blogs://
whipup.net. a blog to how to's!and with the increasing interest on handcrafts why not?if in doubt,i probably be making every single crafting item there is.
this is my heart.it is a good heart....and if u know whats good, this provides a substancial number of meanings presented in poems, quotes, visual reps and then more!i email-ed my own one but awaiting confirmation.so i'll make it as soon as!
i love this one:
before i forget!I'M GRADUATING!nuff said.
note:i need to make a new banner for this blog..!

all that toff and stuff.
will i?won't i?.....i will have to anticipate impatiently!
because of my lack of funds, there has been minimal to do lately, but i've decided that i will discover my
favs. for the week://
in music: Lenka.a bit like Feist and some Lily Allen!i like the folky, delicate sound of her music.
the album artwork/banner is tres' funky.and gives off a very crafty feel and i love collages!
i may just use the cut-out font idea to create a banner for nxt week birthday boy
in blogging:as i am a blogger myself, there has been alot of nosing around at other ppl's blogs.its so intriguing to know what they blog about and where their passion lies.especially when they focus on one particular area.
- Gourmet Chick: only just recently added onto my blogroll. blogger rambles on about her love for food but also shares her culinary skills
- Pia Jane Bijkerk: cannot remember how i found her but she has a serene dreamy sense in the way she presents her entries.and to add she is a paris-olic like me. she created soundscapes of everyday paris and reading her experiences just lets you imagine that your walking the streets without leaving your home (unless u come from the city of course!)
- A Field Journal :i love the crafts, the timeless vintage and just how & just the capture of the photographs.aesthetically pleasing :)!ideas how to decorate, adorn, how to make stuff....ahhhhh!!its actually motivating me to create a few pieces of my own
then there's: freshly{blended} & oh Joy!, which would put your creativity in tenderhooks. ahhh thank god for artistic creatives!!!
in books:
Paris:Made by Hand by Pia Jane Bijkerk
she describes it as: a book for lovers of all things handmade, the chic and unique, and of course Paris. In this book I take you off the tourist streets of this incredible city in search of Parisian artisans whose work is truly inspirational, and secreted studio boutiques filled with exquisite Parisian handmade treasures. I’ve been collecting these special addresses in my stylist’s little black book over the past couple of years and now with great delight, share them all with you in Paris: Made by Hand. Expect to see this fine city in a whole new light… i am indeed a lover for all things handmade chic and pari!!!love love to have this!!!
L.A Candy by Lauren Conrad
Just released 2 days ago,im sure there will be a demand for this purchase esp for the hills fans!
"tell a behind-the scenes story of a young girl who moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show. The books will be loosely inspired by my own experience and are definitely influenced by my own life. Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out.”
Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook by Taref Malouf
For those who love to make yummy cakes and bakery goods.Amazon describes it as "the chefs from the bakery share their recipes for a delicious range of 60 bakes, from deliciously light cupcakes with pretty buttercream frosting to moist chocolate layer cakes and zesty lemon meringue pie. Hummingbird recipes not only taste great but also look spectacular - without resorting to fussy recipes and hours in the kitchen."
talking of which today i shifted myself and collected my free cupcakes that Crumbs&Doilies are giving away every Thursday in their Covent Gdns market stall.Lookie these were mine!
look at the assortment!....
and they were absoluetely delish!

i am finding it quite difficult to come up with ideas on what to get Mark for his 26th birthday,i mean what do u get a 26 year old?man is he really 26? having met him when he was just in his early 20's. hopefully he wouldn't be reading this or he would just have unravelled his gifts, sore loser!i wish i could splash out,ah i have a nerve to just spend, overspend for that matters.so this year i am on a budget.i am in between anticipating but also excitement.i have to monopolise going out (well hey haven't got anyone to see lately),i'm already fantasising what i want to purchase!but before thats exposed....
the pen and paper has been proven to be my new best friend.i realised making list helps me through the day. i'm planning logically what to spend the remaining money Mark gave me. firstly i thought i should get a new french manicure set,the one from Primark proved to be well how do i put it clearly, absolutely crap!i'm not one to go to spa's or get treatment's,not because it wouldn't be worth it but coz i can do it them myself.in fact i'm not trying to be ahead of myself but i think i can be a qualified beautician, without having to go through college. i can bikini wax (tried it the other day, doesn't prove to be delightful), i can perfectly pluck eyebrows, (been doing mine since i was 12 and i haven't complained since) and i can do manicures!i really don't understand the point of women going into salons and spending a few pounds on something they can clearly easily do themselves. on the basis of the all things french, i also decided to brush up on my french as i want to have constant visits to Paris which proves to be one of my top 5 favourite cities.so gladly, its just across the road from us. When i do get my Holga Lomo , i will capture the true beauty of the city, from how i see it.i've already made an album on my facebook page compiled of images that best represents the nicer cultivated view of Paris.it would be so handy to know my "je n'ai se quai" from my va va voom!if you have not seen the quality a Holga can produce, then cap your eyes on the above pictorials!i cannot wait to be the cunning photographer!
back to my generous gift-giving ideas i decided to give mark a few bits & bobbies:
- a chilling treat
- a decorative treat
-an eating treat
- a creative treat
ok so i didn't really declare what im getting him, only because he may be nosing around ;)!but 4 gifts should get him through.
i just have to rant that i am in midst of self discovery.i am not trying to be hard on myself but it has come to my attention that i feel like no one knows what i'm about,i dunno whether its because i'm not as easy going as i use to be before or because i've grown out of certain ways/and certain people. i guess when you've grown up, you just move on. i put myself in this, so now i need to get out of it and take action.even if it means going into hiding then at least i can have a clear head and then at least i know what makes me content.i'm only getting this aggravated because nothing seems enough for me,i want more!
